Where Jewish Community and Modern Learning Come Together

Admissions

Choosing the right school for your child is a heartfelt decision—one that balances excellent academics with the desire to nurture Jewish identity, belonging, and community. At St. Pete Jewish Academy, we partner closely with families who seek a joyful, meaningful Jewish experience alongside strong, modern learning. We are now accepting interest for our opening in August 2027.

Who We Serve

St. Pete Jewish Academy is designed for Jewish families with at least one Jewish parent raising children in a Jewish home. We are a pluralistic, non-denominational school welcoming families from across the Jewish spectrum—united by a shared commitment to Jewish life, learning, and connection to Israel.

Our Founding Cohort & Growth Plan

We are intentionally launching small with a founding cohort of VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten), Kindergarten, and 1st grade students. This allows us to build a strong foundation, warm school culture, and exceptional personalized learning experience from day one. We plan to grow with this cohort, adding grades over time as St. Petersburg and the surrounding communities continue to expand.

Personalized, Modern Learning

In our small school environment, we closely monitor each child’s learning style and adapt teaching in real time. With dedicated secular and Judaic studies teachers, instruction is personalized, interest-driven, and responsive—prioritizing progress, individual strengths, and meaningful experiences in a close-knit community.

Tuition & Financial Aid

We are committed to making a high-quality Jewish education accessible to as many families as possible. Our goal is to accept Step Up For Students scholarships (Florida’s private school voucher program), which provide meaningful tuition assistance for eligible families—regardless of income level. These scholarships average around $8,000 per student and can help cover tuition and related fees at participating private schools.

By actively recruiting investors and donors passionate about Jewish education, we are building a robust financial aid and scholarship fund. This ensures that no qualified family is left out of the opportunity to give their children the gift of a meaningful Jewish day school experience due to financial barriers. We believe every child deserves this education, and we are dedicated to partnering with families to make it possible.

Specific tuition rates and detailed aid processes will be finalized closer to our 2027 opening. In the meantime, we encourage families to apply for Step Up For Students scholarships (applications for 2026-27 open in early 2026) and join our interest list for updates on affordability options.
